Jordyn is really into writing notes lately. I remember going through this phase (well, maybe it isn't a "phase" because I think I did it from age 6 up through high school!). But anyway, these are two notes she wrote just yesterday.

Ame is way into writing too. She has even stepped into the independent stage of sounding out words herself! It's so exciting to see them blossom isn't it!!!
those notes are so cute! i love this stage of life that our kids are in.
I love the part that says "I think you still do (love me)". What a sweet girl!

my mom has shown me some of the notes i wrote around that age (are you happy? check yes or no) and i think it is so exciting to watch your kids go through so many of the same phases that we all can remember going through. these are so sweet -- be sure to save some of them!
SO SWEET!!! Jade's notes were more like Karli's, "check yes or no". I love Jordyn's, right from her heart.
How sweet!! What a cute little post. I love "the you are the best sister in the whole world" part. I remember witting a note just like that to my sister.
