June 2018

Some end of the school year pictures.  Peter and I tool Gabriella and Abby on the bus for a breakfast lesson.

I was able to take my student Jordan on a field trip to San Francisco State University to explore the campus.

Lexi and some of her friends at an 8th grade awards assembly.

Jordyn choreographed a solo for Zoey to perform at her talent show at school.  So she was able to leave school early to go support her!

Lexi's 8th grade promotion!  She looked so beautiful.  And we went through 7 million blush colored dresses to get to the right one.

After school ended, we took a day trip to the beach for Lexi and four of her friends.

Had to capture this picture of Peyton getting breakfast in bed at my mom's house.  Grandma and Grandpas are for spoiling!

Oh my.  Recital time.  This was our second recital at the Little Theatre in Kingsburg.  It is SO. MUCH. WORK.  It feels like 6 days of complete hot, sweaty, hellish work...coming off the tail end of school ending and a LONG weekend of dance photos prior.  It nearly kills us off!  It was so much less stressful when it was at the Saroyan in Fresno.  But there are plenty of benefits to having it in Kingsburg.  The worst part is getting the dressing room area ready for over 200 dancers to change in. It's dirty, hot and not air conditioned.  So creating remedies for that is a huge undertaking.  The lack of A/C in the dressing area makes things so hard.

This recital had the best theme "THE GREATEST SHOW".  It was soooooo well done.

We were so lucky to have Gam and Pa fly in for the recital and to spend some quality time with us.  Even though we were half dead from recital, we had lots of fun and we fit a lot in!

Danielle & Cody's wedding was extremely HOT. Like over 100 degrees and outdoors.  But it was beautiful!

Tiffany, Solomon and Eliza came for their annual visit!  They stayed for 4 days.  We always have fun hanging out together and the kids act like siblings.

The Dance Company had some major changes this summer!  We expanded studio one and replaced the flooring in the studios as well.

I love walking in the room and seeing my kids hanging out together.

Presley, Jordyn and Lex hanging out

Shana stopped by for a quick visit with Haden and Maren!

When I saw this picture of my grandpa Worley, I saw myself in many of his features.
