It always amazes me that some of the best things in life truly come from the most effort. I think it’s human nature to look for the easiest and least taxing way of doing something…but then we miss out on the sweet rewards of hard work.
That is how I feel about our 800 mile road trips to Utah two or three times a year. The idea of it sounds fun…the reality of it feels impossible…and the benefits of it are priceless. Every single time!
Here we are, loaded up and ready for our day in the car. This year, we had the car loaded the night before and then just hopped in the car about 7:30 am. We arrived, with perfect weather, at 8:30 pm at Gam & Pa’s house. The kids were wonderful for the most part.
