Way to Go Lexi!

At Lexi's school, they periodically hand out "green tickets" to acknowledge outstanding achievement. This ticket means she gets to have a special pizza lunch with the principal (and a few other kids), and she got this ticket on Monday. Lexi was so proud of herself and excited to receive this recognition! I loved seeing her this excited. Lexi's teacher constantly says what a great student Lexi is. She is self-motivated, she is cooperative, she is in the top reading group and she is a happy little ray of (shy) sunshine in her class. I love when I get to volunteer in her classroom because I really get to observe her in HER environment. Everytime I refer to one of the kids by their name, she looks at me wide-eyed and says "Mom, how did you know his name?". Like I'm magical or something. She is so cute.

Way to go Lexi! We love you so much!
