Beth and Dane have a beautiful canyon literally in their backyard, so we took a 15 minute drive up to a small lake for some canoeing on Saturday. It was a little rigorous with two 1 year olds, but overall everyone had a fun time!
We've been driving around this 20 year old 'burban that Dane's cousin left at their house because it fits all of us. But it has no air conditioning and is sort of Griswald-ish. We even pulled up to church in it - with the canoe and all!
Jordyn is super willing to try anything and loves a new adventure (like her Daddy)! She was the first one who volunteered to go in the canoe!
A fish "jumped into the canoe", thanks to Dane *wink wink*
Even Peyton got a turn in the canoe with mommy!
And we were also able to go to church and meet their new ward on Sunday. Very nice people, and lots of history here. The kids were quite match-y too. Beth and Dane were "lucky" enough to give talks.

I miss you!!! Thx for the update hun.
Beth, your haircut is cute. Dane your bald spot still rocks!
Wow, that looks like SO much fun Jay! Go Jordyn, you bold girl!!! I love canoeing, that is so cool your girls got a chance to try it out, they will always remember that. Beth is way cute! And that house looks incredible, I'm dying to know how it looks inside, being such a historic building. Would Beth mind if you took some shots inside? I'm facinated! I have been in old buildings before, but not residential homes that old, (except Spain, but they were crap to live in by American standards), so I'm curious what the rooms are like, kitchen, etc. Ok, sorry such a long comment, that is just SO cool you are there!!! Can't wait to hear more! :)
i'm just laughing at tucker's comment! wow, what a VERY cool place and i'm sure extra special considering their family history! it looks like you guys have been having a GREAT time there! makes me want to try canoeing!!
We had so much fun with you. Loved the trips in the suburban together. Sometimes torturous things are the most memorable. Tara! Come help me remodel on your next visit. You would be welcome!
