It was only two days, but it was great! There is nothing greater than contrast! I love having contrast to everyday life to help you appreciate it that much more. Our kids are so great....but they are also loud, and intense and non-stop. So the break was needed.

A very deserved break indeed. We will be in CA in two weeks and have been thinking about a getaway to the beach also. We will see. I love the last picture.
I ADORE Monterey!!! Bill and I always try to think of how we could live there when we visit, (but it could never work). That place is just too awesome! I am SO glad you two were able to get away, you really deserve the break!
