From the age of 8 until she is 12, Jordyn gets to work on her Faith in God book/goals. It gives her guidelines to set various goals and if she completes them before she is 12, she gets an award from the Primary.
We haven’t been as diligent as we should since April when Jordyn turned 8, but we finally did a few goals this week.
Jordyn helped me make homemade pizza. She did most everything by herself, with me standing by giving instruction. She did a GREAT job too!
And then the next night, she taught Family Home Evening. The subject was the restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1820 by the prophet Joseph Smith. Lindy, Lyric, Paxton and Kylee were here with us, so she had a full audience and had lots of audience participation. She was a wonderful teacher.
She’s really excited about her goals and I hope I remember to help her!
