Utah Trip- Alpine Slide

One of the things the girls requested to do while we were in Utah was the Alpine slide. We did it three years ago with the family, and they absolutely loved it. It's really not cheap, so we debated. But decided to go for it, so we went up to Park city with Maren and the kids. It ended up being such a blast, and I totally perfect day. We were so glad that we went!

It was a beautiful, perfect day. After we finished the slide, we went over to do the Alpine coaster. As we were in line, it kept getting a little bit darker in the sky. Eventually there was even lightning nearby. They told us that if the lightning struck within 5 miles, they would have to close the ride. No joke, the minute most of our party was sitting down and buckled up, they had to cancel the coaster and it started absolutely pouring! I'm talking tables and umbrellas blowing over! We were pretty far from our car, so we ran back to the car and went over to the Loco lizard restaurant to have some lunch.

By the time we finished lunch and drove back over to the coaster, it was sunny and beautiful and we were able to go on the ride!

After Park city, we went down to Lyndsy and James' new house to roast some marshmallows and see their new place.
