Grandma's birthday week, Swimming, and Dance Practice

So the next few days were filled with hanging out, swimming, and a humongous chunk of dance practice! The girls had planned to do my mom's annual dance recital on Wednesday. Jordyn had taught most everyone else there dances, but Alyson arrived on Saturday and had a solo and a duet to learn! So they literally spent 10 solid hours in that dance room over the next two days! Luckily, they were still able to fit in games and sleepovers and lots of laughing.

Lindy and I had an idea to make over my mom's shelves in her living room, so we got to work and made 17 monogram signs, one representing each member of the family.

We were so happy that she absolutely loved the surprise!

The kids think of the craziest things to do, they spent like an hour taking turns doing this trick, where one person's legs look like they're attached to another and they do crazy things.

Dance, dance, dance!

One of the things my mom requested with her ice cream theme birthday week, was a music video to the 1925 song "i scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream". So, throughout the week, we found plenty of opportunity to take parts of video around any ice cream setting. This was in front of Rite Aid where we got thrifty ice cream.

Kids gathering around grandma, apparently watching something entertaining on her computer!

More dancing…

And I really don't know what we would do without the pool!
