Lyric is in Kindergarten and she has a fabulous teacher, Mrs. Bergstrom. It’s been hard to coordinate a day that I could sub for her class this year (or had the energy for Kindergarten again!) but last week we were finally able to settle on a day. Lyric was SO excited to have her Aunt be her sub. When she got to class that day, she handed me this cute note. I loved it!
For lunch, I signed Lyric out and we went on a little lunch date. I asked her where she wanted to go and she said her favorite place…Port of Subs! So we went there and she got her own kids meal. I laughed when she said “This is my first time EVER getting my own drink and my own chips!” (no little brother to have to share with that day!). It was fun and I think she enjoyed it. Wish I would have taken a picture!
Boy oh boy…subbing Kindergarten is DRASTICALLY different than subbing 2nd and 3rd grade like I’ve been doing this year. I swear those teachers should be paid quadruple!
