Tucker and his mom have a tradition. Since his family is very divided down the middle on the Utes vs. BYU issue, we've got some good ol' fashioned rivalry happening. Tucker bleeds red....Jeannine is all blue. So whoever's team loses has to do whatever the other assigns them to do. For example, one year we sent Jeannine a HUGE bouquet of red/utes/crazy-fan type flowers to her office (where everyone knows she's a BYU fan).
This year, Utes had a sad loss. So Tucker's "punishment" was to wear these big BYU magnets on his (red) car for a couple weeks. He fulfilled his promise. Which, in California, doesn't mean to much to the average citizen. But at church? That's another story. Everyone from church got a huge kick out of it...because Tucker's not shy about his preference of U of U. Good traditions, good memories!
