First Grade

So every other Monday I get to help and Peyton's classroom. First grade is such a cute age, they just completely love you and aren't afraid to express it. I love that Pey is not (yet) embarrassed to give me a little kiss on the cheek in front of her friends, or give me a hug. 

Before I left today, I noticed her lips were dry, so I gave her a little bit of my lipgloss. It was the funniest thing because she beamed with pride that she had my lip gloss on, and told one of her friends about it. It was cute to watch her walk off like she was so big because of that. And then she still turned around and ran back and give me a hug. I love that, and I hope she never stops!
