Swim Team - Round 2

This is our second year on the swim team. Being on the swim team for Kingsburg is somewhat of a HUGE undertaking. In our small town, there are 300 children who swim on our team. That makes for a crowded but fun event!

The girls were unsure if they wanted to do it again this year. But they were genuinely good at it last year, and improved their time and skills so dramatically. So I wanted them to give it one more season. If they absolutely hate it after this season, I won't make them do it again. But I think it's more of a love/hate. It's HARD and its COMPETITIVE. But also very healthy too. They like swimming, they love being with their friends. And they even love the meets. But (and I agree) there is something intimidating about that horn that blows when you're "on your marks"!

We practice daily at 4 pm, and Tu/Th are the swim meets. Those are more like 5-10pm. We set up camp and hang out all night! Go Seawolves!
