Go, Go, Go Joseph...

Our kids know every single word to the show "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"....we just say "Joseph" around here. Jordyn loved this show as a toddler, and it has been a household favorite for each child. We have the Donny Osmond version on DVD and for some reason, none of us ever tire from having it on.

I have been watching for the stage production to visit our area for quite a while now....and FINALLY it came! Roger Rocka's is a quaint dinner theatre in Fresno that puts on six shows per year. It's a small theatre, but the shows are spectacular.

We took our kids last week, and actually sat front row! Like...so close you could touch! In fact, the cast often would come and sing right to our girls. Now, you can't really imagine how giddy that made them unless you understood how MUCH they love Joseph. It was sooo cute! They were the only children in the theatre, and they didn't move a muscle the entire show because they were so mesmerized!

Afterward, we got to meet Joseph and the narrator. Peyton gave Joseph the biggest hi-five and had the HUGEST smile on her face! It was hilarious!

Little secret: I photoshopped Lexi into the group picture below with Joseph because she was WAY to nervous to actually stand by him!

My parents also went to Joseph there this year. They said it was so much fun. It is a favorite around our house also and I too love the Donny Osmond version, it is by far the best.
