Well, my sister Lindy and her husband Mike are officially NOT residents of Utah now and have finally moved here. They pulled up in their moving van tonight, exhausted to say the least. They'll start the unpacking tomorrow and start job interviewing ASAP. It will be fun to have more family close by. Today is little Lyric's first birthday. So, even through their exhaustion, we had a little party for her. Parties for one year olds are pretty fast, so it was perfect. I made a lady bug cake and she loved playing in it.
For now, the only long-distance family members are Carly and little Alyson! Carly loves Huntington Beach and we're not sure we'll ever get her out of there! We just hope that her work permits her to visit more often than she's been able to lately. If it weren't for the LA area traffic, I'd probably hop down there more often too! I'm excited to see them at Christmas time.
