In Manti Again!

Spent a couple days with the Thurstons in Manti on our way up to SLC this year.  We always have a great time with them.  Manti is like stepping back in time to the 1800’s.  We got to Manti Sunday night and Beth asked if we happened to want to do the 5K in the morning for the 4th of July.  Tucker and I have not been running much…and we knew the 6,000 feet of elevation would be a LOT different than sea level where we live…but we thought what the heck?  So we were up bright and early the next morning to run a 5K together!  Not  something we ever thought would happen, but a fun memory!  (And my lungs DEFINITELY noticed the elevation)

Beth and I spent about 8 hours scraping old wall paper off her walls and prepping them to paint.  She wonders why I come and want to do things like this…but they are fun to me!

Within the first hour we were there, Lexi fell screaminng in pain on the trampoline.  We tried icing it, and ibuprofen.  But by the next morning it was obvious it was hurt more than we had hoped.  So Tucker and Dane took her to the fastest ER in the world and they found out she had a fracture and it would take 3-4 weeks to heal.  It’s made for an interesting trip!  But she has been a trooper.

Dane and Beth are parents of baby sheep…and they milk them every morning and night!  What a chore!!  It was fun to see them at work :-)

OUCH! That would make for an interesting trip. Hailey is jealous that she has crutches. :)
