Thanksgiving Manti Visit - Last One Ever!

If you're lucky, you meet a friend or two in your lifetime that feel like family.  The familiarity and connection is smooth and effortless.  That is how it has been for Beth and I since day one, 10 years ago.  For five years we lived in the same small town, and then for five years we visited twice a year at their "farm" in Manti Utah.  Now...they are on to another adventure in Texas and the visits will be much more difficult to coordinate...but we are all determined to see each other at least annually!!

The weather was absolutely beautiful and we took a walk up to the Manti temple.  The hill is huge and it is SO tempting to roll down the big, huge, grassy hill...but it never fails that the SECOND the kids try to roll...the groundskeeper emerges and says "WE CANNOT ROLL DOWN THE HILL KIDS".

It's just so fun how much the kids love each other and just play perfectly nonstop the entire time. I love it.

Helen (Dane's mom) had recently taken to painting rocks and I loved how cute they were...so I grabbed a blank one and tried my own.  It was fun!
