Dance Recital 2013

So much work goes into these annual recitals!  We were so lucky to have family in town from Utah...as well as Grandma and Grandpa there to support us.

Jordyn and Lexi did:
Tailfeather (Jazz with Roberta)
Blessings (Lyrical with Ms. Jess)
7 Dwarfs (ballet with Erin)
Telephone (Jazz with Ms. Jess)

and Peyton did:
Witch Doctor (Jazz with Ms. Jessica)

Team sister: Hayley Donabedian

Team sister: Lauren Wilson

These pictures below are from the dress rehearsal the day before the recital.

End of Another School Year!

The last few weeks of school always feel so fun, chaotic and busy...not to mention emotional for the kids.  Particularly Lexi and Peyton felt emotional about the school year ending since they would not be at the same school as their teachers next year.  We had such a wonderful year, and fabulous teachers.  What a blessing!

I loved helping in Peyton's classroom each Monday this last year!

This was a sweet paper on Peyton's desk during her open house.  "I love my grandma because she takes care of me".

All the schools have "swim day" at the high school pool.  This is Lexi with her BFF Lucy. So sad they won't be at the same school next year.

Peyton had "water day" at her school.  Behind her is McKayla ("KayKay"), her best friend this year.

Jordyn got out of school two days before the other two.  This is her with Ms. Karich on the last day of school.

Jordyn was able to come Lexi's school to help serve ice cream for the kids who made their Accelerated Reader goal.

Photo bomb!

Lexi with her good friends Natalie, Chelsea, Lucy and Evelyn on the last day.

Track and field events during the last week of school for Lyric and Lexi.

Jordyn had a day where the students played softball against the parents.  I played way, way outfield LOL

Lexi had an open house where we saw all her awesome work as well as a really fun video Mr Hofer made with the kids.  He does that every year, it's a fun tradition, and they are always so excited for the "premier" on open house night.  This year it was called "Time Warp".

All the cousins at open house for Lexi and Lyric.

Pax with Mrs. Bergstrom.  Awesome teacher!

On the first day of school, Lindy and I took the kids to babycakes for ice cream.  So on the last day of school, we did the same thing...but we invited Grandma and Grandpa!  So fun!

Painting Stones

One of the projects my mom really wanted the kids to complete this summer is painting stones for her yard.  They each got a huge stepping stone and were able to design it however their hearts desired.  It was so fun to see their personalities come through.  Kylee was the first one done...and Lexi was the very last one done.
