Tucker set out for the most challenging of his bike races yet! He did it with his friend, Jeremy Kinney. He was nervous but determined. I was nervous! After seeing the narrow, winding roads, and seeing the horrendous temps for the day. But he was out the door by 4:30 am!
This wasn't his longest ride, but definitely the hardest. This was the first time he made it up the first hill (Wildcat) without having to push his bike at any point! At about mile 60, his legs started to cramp pretty bad, but he shook them out and just fought thru the last 10 miles. This ride encompasses part of California's big bike ride called "Climb to Kaiser" which is 150 miles and 15,000 feet in elevation ascents!
