Having all girls, we have seemed to fall into the stereotypical scenario of not too many physical injuries or broken bones. But in October, we were just at the tail end of a birthday party which had taken place at a trampoline/gym type place. All of the sudden, Peyton was hysterical. Her ankle hurt from landing wrong on the trampoline. As per usual for me, I under-reacted…held her for a bit and told her she was fine. But by the next morning, when she told me she had CRAWLED to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I was worried. Decided to take her in and sure enough there was the type of fracture that needed to be cast. In children, it’s extra important that the bone grow back together perfectly. I was thrilled, though, that she didn’t need crutches as well! She could put pressure on it, but the cast kept it in the perfect position. Baths were hard though!

Oh sad! We had our first broken leg this past fall, too, with Brandon. But, he couldn't put weight on it for 4 weeks. He could get the cast wet, which was awesome. It's nice to catch up on you and your family! I'm amazed at your O&M/Masters. You are awesome!
