Every June we look forward to the girls’ dance recital! This year they each were only in one dance, so it felt fairly simple.
Jordyn and Lexi had Ms. Michelle as their Jazz teacher, and they danced to “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”.
They also took a ballet and progressions class…but those were just technique classes.
As much as she loves Lexi, Jordyn keeps requesting to be in a class “without her sister” next year, so we’ll try to make that work.
Peyton’s Jazz teacher was (our favorite) Ms. Jessica. She had lots of little friends in her class (including Ava and Kayla) and their dance was “Jailhouse Rock”. She sure knows how to shake her stuff!
All three girls really, truly love dancing. I just wish it didn’t cost so much for them to continue to move up in the competition teams! They beg all the time, but I just don’t think it’s possible to do more than we are doing.
