Mrs. Stone

Mrs. Stone and I met when Jordyn was in second grade (2009). Rosa Lorang recommended that I request her as Jordyn's teacher, so I did, and she has stayed an important part of my life for the last five years. She has taught me so much about being a teacher, but more than that about being a good friend and loyal person. She and I still get together often. We get together for lunch in her classroom, and I substitute teach for her quite often. Just recently, she went through radiation for seven weeks for breast-cancer, and I was her weekly substitute. She is one of those people who has made a difference in my life, and we have a unique but valuable friendship
