Randomness
When Tucker travels for work, the girls love to take turns in my bed. Along with the dogs!
I was so touched when I checked the mail one day and opened this sweet necklace with an "R" on it from Katie. She ordered them for me, my mom and sisters. The "R" stands for Ryan, Remember and Resilliance. I love it!!!
My dad's birthday is on Veterans Day and the girls and I stopped by with some fun/random gifts, some balloons and brownies. Happy 61 years young dad! We love you!!
Lexi had a big Indian project to work on for 4th grade...and her partners were Suzannah and McKenzie. The girls gathered after school a few days and worked really hard together!
One of my favorite things is when Roxy's bangs flop over in her face. She is so cute!
I love lazy Saturday mornings when we don't have to be anywhere and we can sleep in and relax a little.
Jordyn just participated on her very last primary program!
If anyone sits on the couch, roxy is a little leech and sits as close as possible !
This fall has brought such BEAUTIFUL weather!

Girls' Weekend in San Fran!
One day, I got a text from Katie asking if I could get together in October for a girls' weekend in San Francisco. Of course I said yes, and so she bought a plane ticket to come out. We stayed at Shanas house and had a great time together. There's nothing like friends who you've known most of your life, they are definitely more like sisters. We hung out, talked, ate, visited Shana's office at Google, and had a wonderful afternoon at a spa complete with massages. It was so nice to spend time together. I feel so blessed to have friends like these girls!! These pictures highlight our weekend...
Tucker's Birthday and the P!nk Concert
Earlier this year, for my 36th birthday, I got tickets to go to the pink concert in October. Well, October finally arrived and Tucker was my date! We got to leave town for a night together. The girls stayed at the Navison's home, and had a great time there. We had a really fun time at the concert, it was the most fabulous concert I've ever been to. I loved it!! She was an amazing acrobat, never missed a single beat or even wavered on her pitch, and she's saying every song I wanted her to sing. It was fabulous.
Lindgrens and Lunch
Shana and her family had to make a quick weekend trip to Corcoran for a family gathering. Whenever she comes down this way, we try to get together. So we met her and Derek and the kids at the pizza factory for some lunch. It's always fun to catch up and see each other, even if it's for a short time!!
Mrs. Stone
Mrs. Stone and I met when Jordyn was in second grade (2009). Rosa Lorang recommended that I request her as Jordyn's teacher, so I did, and she has stayed an important part of my life for the last five years. She has taught me so much about being a teacher, but more than that about being a good friend and loyal person. She and I still get together often. We get together for lunch in her classroom, and I substitute teach for her quite often. Just recently, she went through radiation for seven weeks for breast-cancer, and I was her weekly substitute. She is one of those people who has made a difference in my life, and we have a unique but valuable friendship
Halloween 2013- Star Wars Edition
A few weeks before Halloween, Tucker made it a point to show the girls all of the Star Wars movies. He started with episode four then five, six, then went to one, two, and three. They actually really enjoyed all of the movies, and learned so many details. When Halloween rolled around, they actually asked to be Star Wars characters believe it or not. Tucker could not have been more thrilled! So this picture was his dream come true!
Roxy & Rusty
These dogs are something else! They are inseparable from one another...and totally an important part of our family. We sure love our puppies!
Peyton Turns 7!
Jordyn and Lexi wanted to wrap Peyton's gifts. Jordyn helped Pey make a list of things she wanted.
Pey requested donuts for breakfast!
Several weeks before her birthday, Peyton requested that Julia bring her dog Bella over in a little dress. So Julia showed up for a few minutes before we left for school! Pey loved it.
After school, Payton got to go shopping and to dinner with grandma and grandpa. She chose to eat at Subway. And she wanted to get some boots and a sweater as well. They also got ice cream for dessert. She had a fun time with them!
Peyton also wanted to go roller skating at roller town. So the next day, we went rollerskating as a family. She rollerbladed for the first time and was like an expert! She knows how to get out there and just take off on the skating rink!
Lindy and the kids mailed Peyton a fun gift. She got a game and a big bag of huge purple sparkly gumballs! She also got a card and money in the mail from Gam and Pa. So fun!
At Clay school, the whole school sings happy birthday in the morning while they do announcements. So I took the girls to school, and stayed there to take pictures of Peyton getting sung to.
After roller skating, Kira and kayla came over to our house to eat chocolate cake with us. They got her her very own rollerblades for her birthday! She was so excited.
We love you so much Pey Pey!! You add sparkle to our lives!!!
