August!  Another summer comes to an end and another school year begins.  This was an exciting one because now we have TWO high schoolers.

Back to work before I can blink!  It's the first week of August and its always so brutal!

The girls got a chance to go to So You Think You Can Dance filming. Jill and Roberta took them and they had a great time!

 

Peyton LOVES fashion!  Always talking about outfits, thinking of outfits, and trying on outfits.

Also, back to golf.  Junior year!

Jordyn driving was a scary and refreshing change for our family.

This is a perfect snapshot of Peyton in her glory.  Watching a show, eating chips, having animals all round her ha ha.

Once per week, Jordyn has lunch with her friends at one of their houses.  We all take turns providing lunch. 

 

July 2018

July was a full month! Often summer feels just as busy as the school year, the main difference is that we get to sleep a little more!  Although, even THAT didn't happen this summer because of the saga of the dog fostering...

We were able to do a white water rafting trip with the kids and Lindy with Tucker's work.  It was fun!

Fourth of July at our house.  Uncle Doug surprised us and joined!  The fun accessories are courtesy of my creative mother.

(Paxton's birthday is the 5th, so often his celebration includes 4th of July fireworks)

Oh the puppies.  The 9 babies and a mom.  I can't believe I thought it was a good "experience" and learning opportunity for the girls.  It ended up being SOOOOO MUCH WORK. For me. But they were cute!

I played hair dresser and died Lindy's hair for the first time, and added some chalk paint to the kids hair.

 

We usually fit in a family bowling trip.

My mom's love language is food.  Sometimes its really healthy and sometimes its not HAHA!

 

Annnnnd the summer dance show the kids put on.  They pulled it off yet again!  Thanks to Roberta for the use of the studio!
