November 2017

This year, we did something new with the Dance Team.  We did a Dancegiving.  It was really sweet and meant a lot to the girls.  More than I anticipated.  I wanted there to be something meaningful, so I created little packets with 28 cards for each girl, with all the other girls names on them.  Each girl write a note for EACH dancer & director.  It took like a whole hour, but was totally worth it.

We were also quite lucky to have Gam and Pa visit for Thanksgiving.  Always so much fun to have them!  Any time we get with them is a treat.  This face swap activity was HILARIOUS!

I redid my wall in the living room, my biggest collage wall so far.

OH MY, Jordyn got her Driver's Permit!

KiKi!  She is 4 months old here.

For Lexi's 14th Bday, we invited Nadia, Phoebe and Tori out to eat Teppanyaki, and frozen yogurt, and do Color Me Mine.  It was quite a fun night!  Lex did NOT want me to take any pics because this is when she was on steroids and at her most swollen, poor kid.  It was a fun night still!

For Grandpa's bday, we had a little dinner at our house and Peyton wrote a song for him.  So sweet!

So, Lexi had been saving money for her first cell phone, and didn't QUITE have enough for the one she wanted by her 14th bday. My friend Peter switched from iPhone to android and gave me his iPhone 6.  So this was Lexi's first cell phone, and I had her take a pic with this note for Peter. Again, she HATED pics during this time!

Still love my job!  This was a Senior student, Brooklyn.

So sweet, Jordyn is such a good dance teacher for the little ones.

Peyton LOVES to bake, and somehow got Kristy to bake with her!  These two are two peas in a pod.

Elite Team Dance Competition Schedule!  Missing Amber and Caitlin from this photo.

Mom made her yummy Thanksgiving dinner!  I hadn't had it for a few years, so it was nostalgic to have it again.

SUCH a CLASSIC picture of my dad with a towel on his shoulder.

October 2017

I Designed new TDC Elite Team Apparel!

Jordyn't Team sister Kennedy

Lexi's team sister Karrieman (Lexi was in TEARS about taking this photo...ugh this was SOOOOO hard)

Peyton's team sister Reece.

Dana, Roberta and Jen - LOVE THEM

Aww baby kitty!!

Roxy - our girl.  She was getting so sick.

My cane stash!  I bought a labeler to put kids names and the sizes on each cane.

Roxy and Rusy loving a walk. We are the worst dog owners/walkers.  Do not do it enough!

Tucker came home from a work trip and we had the house decorated for his birthday.  age 45.

The night before Roxy died.  I Had a feeling. I wanted to capture how she always slept by me.

My mom always saved snippets of our baby hair, so I had to save different sections of Roxy's hair.  It was so sad.  She had been really struggling for a few weeks, and then suddenly, one sunday morning, she became paralyzed in her back legs. It made her panicked, and she was struggling to breathe.  She died within a few hours in our arms.  It was SOOOO HARD.  But I wanted her to be at home with us, rather than a cold emergency vet office that scares her to death.  She was the best dog in the world, and we only got 5 years with her :-(

Kylee drew us a picture of Roxy after she heard she died.

This has been a shocking relationship, Tucker always "hated" cats, but somehow really likes Kiki.

Molly and I went to support Jordyn at her Golf Tournament in Lemoore

One of my semi-annual dinners with Carol Stone.  Sakura Chaya is our favorite!

Peyton's 11th birthday!  We invited Eden and went to an escape room and Teppanyaki for dinner.  It was our first escape room, and very fun!

Then we had Grandpa, Kristy have cake with us when we got home.

Jordyn eats lunch every Wednesday with the same group of girls.  One of their houses is real close to the high school, and her mom started this tradition their freshman year.  I love it and appreciate it so much.

Jo and Lex love the Christy Miller Series books

I also took Peyton and Bryn for birthday ice cream since their birthdays are one day apart.

We went to Utah in October, for an early Thanksgiving and Mallory's mission farewell!

Peyton and her "twin" Brock

Taylor, Jordyn, Lexi and Mindy (Lexi still on those darn steroids)

The Gertson girls, Maxfield girls, and Maddie

Peyton sure loved Gam's shoes and closet! She borrowed a pair of boots for church.

Made a stop at Ulta with Peyton and Gam/Jeannine!

Of course playing games!!

I gathered the girls in the bathroom and did a tutorial on how to PROPERLY clean a toilet!  My mom and Grandma taught me well!
