December 2017

Kiki LOVES the window SO much

I took my student to the movies to experience audio description headsets for the blind and visually impaired.

Lexi and Peyton's Clay Christmas Concert! Lexi's last one :-(

Grandma and Grandpa area always great cheerleaders.

I LOVE teaching Gabriella, and her friend Abby always came on lessons with us.  These girls are too fun.

Mom and Dad picking out their christmas tree! I can't remember if they ended up actually getting a real tree that day, but the pic was worth it!

Peyton loves nothing more than SUGAR COOKIES! I made her her own pan.

This was the sweetest pic of the McLeod's getting Chewie, their first dog!

This is one of my blind students, who also has cognitive delays.  But this kid LOVES music, and can play several songs by ear.  Its amazing.

Miss Jen always has the girls dress up for a ballet class in december.  So cute!

Kitty in a Tree!

The studio had someone come and fit the girls for pointe shoes.

So, Lindy JUST moved into a new house, so I flew out to Kansas and helped her do some major painting in just a few days.  It was so fun!  I also got to see Paxton at his school.

Jordyn went with a group of girls to High School Formal dance, and had a lot of fun. She looks beautiful!

Famous Christmas Bread!  Made it every year since Beth moved in 2008!

I set up some lighting in our living room and took some

This was the first year we did the Saran Wrap game, and it was a hit!  Grandma spent a lot of time prepping for this.

Matching Christmas Jammies!

We all went to Macaroni grill for Christmas day dinner.  And it was THE WORST EXPERIENCE ever.  Like horrible.  So we contacted the management and they told us to come back within a week for a free dinner.  So we did, and they treated unlike complete GOLD.  It was quite memorable!

And the now famous candy cane tasting contest.  Its so fun!  Mom buys as many flavors as she can find, and we all taste and vote on which we like best.

Kylee and Peyton got to have a fun shopping day with Grandma

Awww a HUGE bunny that lives forever!

Good ol' Rusty

This New Years eve was SO simple.  Just hung out at home, Molly came over, and Tucker was out being a Lyft driver for the night.  Came home with $350, but was gone for like 10 hours.

November 2017

This year, we did something new with the Dance Team.  We did a Dancegiving.  It was really sweet and meant a lot to the girls.  More than I anticipated.  I wanted there to be something meaningful, so I created little packets with 28 cards for each girl, with all the other girls names on them.  Each girl write a note for EACH dancer & director.  It took like a whole hour, but was totally worth it.

We were also quite lucky to have Gam and Pa visit for Thanksgiving.  Always so much fun to have them!  Any time we get with them is a treat.  This face swap activity was HILARIOUS!

I redid my wall in the living room, my biggest collage wall so far.

OH MY, Jordyn got her Driver's Permit!

KiKi!  She is 4 months old here.

For Lexi's 14th Bday, we invited Nadia, Phoebe and Tori out to eat Teppanyaki, and frozen yogurt, and do Color Me Mine.  It was quite a fun night!  Lex did NOT want me to take any pics because this is when she was on steroids and at her most swollen, poor kid.  It was a fun night still!

For Grandpa's bday, we had a little dinner at our house and Peyton wrote a song for him.  So sweet!

So, Lexi had been saving money for her first cell phone, and didn't QUITE have enough for the one she wanted by her 14th bday. My friend Peter switched from iPhone to android and gave me his iPhone 6.  So this was Lexi's first cell phone, and I had her take a pic with this note for Peter. Again, she HATED pics during this time!

Still love my job!  This was a Senior student, Brooklyn.

So sweet, Jordyn is such a good dance teacher for the little ones.

Peyton LOVES to bake, and somehow got Kristy to bake with her!  These two are two peas in a pod.

Elite Team Dance Competition Schedule!  Missing Amber and Caitlin from this photo.

Mom made her yummy Thanksgiving dinner!  I hadn't had it for a few years, so it was nostalgic to have it again.

SUCH a CLASSIC picture of my dad with a towel on his shoulder.
